Delivered On Your Schedule.
When it comes to total hearing safety, Mobilear provides a three-step solution: education, prevention and protection. Our full range of services are designed to assist all noise exposed individuals.
On-site Testing
Let us come to you. Our mobile units can be stationed at your facility, ensuring maximum convenience and efficiency in testing. Mobile units offer:
- Pre-test coordination to ensure day of testing runs smoothly.
- The testing of up to six employees simultaneously, reducing lost production time
- Sound booth testing to ensure a quiet setting for more accurate test results
- Testing conducted by CAOHC certified technicians
- Mobile units are heated and air conditioned
- Immediate determination and required notification of Standard Threshold Shift (STS) before our unit leaves
- Completion of verification tests for STS, reducing the cost of additional outside testing
- Return visits to your company for absentee testing
Training
The most important component of any hearing conservation program is education. We can fully train and educate your employees about noise and hearing safety. Mobilear’s training program:
- Meets OSHA requirements
- Can be efficiently completed in conjunction with on-site employee testing
- Is revised annually to maintain employee interest and relevancy
- Can be customized to reflect your company’s specific policies and requirements
- Can accommodate large groups
- Covers a wide range of topics, including the effects of noise on hearing, how to better protect hearing and the purpose of testing
Surveillance Programs
OSHA requires all in-house testing to be conducted by a certified technician. Mobilear uses professional audiologists to help implement efficient, cost-effective hearing conservation programs. We work with you to:
- Review and interpret all test results
- Determine Standard Threshold Shift (STS) and the need for medical referrals and revision of baselines
- Provide employee letters for notification of STS and medical referrals
- Provide professional guidance to you and your staff in all areas of your program
- Assist in creating and implementing educational and hearing protection programs
Follow-up Reporting
Our reports include all information necessary to make appropriate follow-up easy. Our follow-up ensures:
- All test results will be reviewed by an audiologist
- You will be contacted by an audiologist to discuss the results of hearing tests and determine a plan for further follow-up
- All reports and test results are completely confidential
- You will be contacted annually by Mobilear to schedule testing
Existing Data
If you already have a hearing safety program in place, Mobilear can:
- Convert your existing test results into our database
- Compare our test results to your provided results to avoid the loss of historical data
